Early accessFree assessment

See a client's Purview posture in minutes.

Connect one Microsoft 365 tenant with read-only access. Neoview returns a short snapshot first — the three things worth talking about — and then the full white-label PDF. Free, one tenant, no commitment, nothing changed in the tenant.

Connect

We send a consent link. The client's Global Admin approves a read-only app — no standing admin role, no write permissions. A preflight check confirms the tenant is ready.

About 5 minutes

Snapshot

After the first sync you get a one-page summary: a posture score, the top three gaps, and what's licensed but switched off.

What's in the snapshot

Enough to start the conversation.

  • Posture score for the tenant, on a scale the client can track month to month.
  • Top three gaps, ranked by exposure — for example a DLP policy that's bypassed more than it blocks, or a location with no policy at all.
  • DLP policies by mode and location: what's in test, what's on, what covers Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • Sensitivity labels: published versus actually used.
  • License coverage: what the current plan unlocks, what's licensed but off, and what the next SKU would add.
  • Recent DLP activity once audit logging is on — matches, blocks and overrides.

What you need

Three things, none of them hard.

  • A Global Admin in the client tenant to approve the read-only consent (one click).
  • Unified audit logging switched on. History fills from the moment it's on — if it isn't yet, we'll tell you in the preflight and the snapshot covers configuration first.
  • Any Microsoft 365 plan. Business Premium, E3 or E5 — the report is license-aware, so it's useful on every tier.

Questions

Before you click consent.

Will anything change in the client's tenant?

No. Neoview reads by default. The app has no write permissions and no admin role. Recommendations come with the cmdlet to run, but you run it, in your own session, when you decide to.

What do you store?

Policy and label configuration, license assignments, user principal names with department and job title, and DLP audit events with sensitive values and contents removed at ingest (the subject line of emails with DLP activity is kept). The full list is on the Security page.

What if audit logging was off?

The snapshot still covers configuration and licenses. Activity history starts from the moment logging is on, so switch it on today and the first weekly digest will have data.

Can we disconnect afterwards?

Yes. Revoke the app in the tenant or ask us. Data for a disconnected tenant is deleted 30 days after offboarding.
